ONYX NX Touch

In the dinosaur ages, before ONYX was called ONYX, this product came out and I was intrigued.  Because this console wing was less than 1/2 the price of all it's competitors due to it's touch faders.

And I still ask - where else can you go and get 10 faders, a programming section, and a DMX output for under $600?  The answer- there isn't anything else out there that can offer this much for so little cost.

So yes, the faders aren't quite as nice as real faders.  But they can work and I've done many shows with them successfully. 

It's easy to grab an NX Touch, toss it in your backpack with a laptop and go do a gig.  No case necessary (though they do now come with covers - nifty!). 

Or, pull it out for a fader wing with any ONYX console - in fact, I think everybody who buys a console should buy a touch for the side!  Why not have (10) more faders for secondary cuelists?

Also brilliant - the entire NX Touch is Vesa Mountable for permeantly-installed rigs.
