The Frost bars from Eliminator are really cool units - for not a lot of dough, you get a reasonably-solid unit with PowerCon locking power connectors and DMX control of both the wash LED's and the backlight LED's in 14-segments across the 1 meter bar.

Includes 14x 3W white LEDs for beam effects + 84x 5050 RGB (3-IN-1) SMD LEDs for glowing effect. For a pretty low price, this bar packs an impressive amount of ability. In this price range, there's not a lot of pixel-mapped bar-type LED wash lights.
This one can give you control of up to 14 segments of both the main wash light and the backlight LED's. The main wash LED's are 3w Warm White while the backlight is RGB.
So this makes a cool "crowd blinder" type light. Want full RGBW color mixing? Check out the Frost Bar RGBW!
The bottom line - it's not going to be a light for the biggest stages, but you might be surprised how well the 3w LED's do for graphical effects behind performers on stage. And it can pull double-duty as an uplight bar in darker spaces (dark ballrooms, etc).
