The AX2 is the first console in the ADJ portfolio built on the innovative ONYX platform from Obsidian Control Systems. At its core is a powerful Intel Hexa-Core processor, 16GB of DDR4 RAM, and a high-speed NVMe SSD drive — delivering fast boot times, instant operation, and the ability to process 32 universes directly inside the console without the need for costly external processing networks. The result is unprecedented power in a compact, ergonomic footprint ready to run the largest shows at a moment's notice.

The control surface features a high-brightness 15.6" Full HD multi-touch screen, 8 assignable parameter encoders, a 3.5" assistive RGB touchscreen, a full numerical keypad and command section, 10 playbacks with four freely assignable buttons per fader, and a dedicated grand master. Two additional 4K touch monitors are supported via DisplayPort for even more direct access. With four DMX/RDM ports, dual Gigabit network ports for Art-Net, sACN, and ONYX X-Net, SMPTE timecode, and MIDI in/out/thru, the AX2 has all the connectivity required for today's most demanding productions. The DYLOS Media Engine with 5 zones of pixel control is included.
