Note: Shelf Life: ALL gaff tapes in the market have a limited shelf life.  Just like the major brands, we rate our shelf-life at 1 year in a climate-controlled space of 76°F and 55% humidity.  Grade A Gaff Tape will likely last longer than 1 year, but we can't guarantee it as there are too many outside factors.

Non-conditioned spaces will weaken the adhesive sooner than 1 year.  Always store gaff tape in conditioned spaces when not actively using it.

When you buy more tape, make sure you use your oldest tape first, and then the new tape to avoid letting the tape age.  Have we used rolls internally that were over 3 years old?  Yes!  However, at that length of time, storage conditions will greatly affect the outcome.

All gaff tapes on the market will also begin peeling up (releasing) on some surfaces when exposed to humidity and temperature shifts in the first 48 hours after application.  Internally, we have tested all major brands alongside Grade A Gaff tape and found the same results - when applied on some surfaces in environments where the AC was turned off on a hot/humid day, all brands of gaff tape started to come up.  Pressing the tapes back down allowed them to fully stick and stay sticking down.
