Description

Caret Down

The ENTTEC DIN Pixie is a compact, installation-grade 2-universe DMX to SPI LED pixel converter and standalone player in a slim 4-module DIN-rail form factor, supporting live DMX control, USB streaming, and standalone show playback.

From the Manufacturer

The DIN Pixie is a robust DMX-to-SPI pixel converter and standalone player built for easy LED pixel control in architectural, commercial, and entertainment projects. It accepts live DMX512-A input via two RJ45 ports, streams two universes of DMX from a computer over USB, or plays back up to four universes of standalone shows recorded to internal memory using Art-Net via ENTTEC EMU software — triggerable on power-up or from within EMU. For larger installations, multiple DIN Pixies can be linked with a STORM Ethernet-to-DMX node to scale to hundreds of universes.

With an industry-leading input voltage range of 5–48V DC, the DIN Pixie is powered directly from the LED pixel strip or dots via either port, eliminating the need for dedicated power supplies or additional wiring. Every port features a self-healing resettable fuse with TVS surge protection, reverse polarity protection on each SPI data line, and built-in overtemperature protection. Over 20 pixel protocols are supported out of the box, and custom protocol creation is available on Rev B devices via ENTTEC EMU without requiring a firmware support request. The slim 4-DIN-unit ABS housing supports discreet surface or TS35 DIN rail mounting with included clips and screws.

Here's What Our Customers Say:

"Working with David and the [Above AVL] team was one of the best, if not the best, experience I’ve ever had with a purveyor in my lighting career. The entire team was very attentive, they bent over backwards to work within my tight timeline, and they provided a very warm customer service experience before and after purchase. At this point, one might think I’m laying the compliments on a little thick, I am not! [Above AVL] deserves more credit than my little testimonial can possibly translate."

Just wanted to reach out and let you know I received all the packages from you guys yesterday so thank you so much again for all your help with this! You truly saved the day and definitely went above and beyond for us! I will be using you guys for all my future A/V and lighting purchases .Thanks again and have a great weekend!!

6 weeks before our big event date I was given the role of managing our conference’s stage appearance and live streaming visuals. [Above AVL] helped steer me toward a perfect beginners kit of high quality lights that helped me create an even stage wash with enough dynamic uplighting that I could transform the bland hotel conference ballroom into a dance party scene on several nights. If you’re looking for help learning stage and event lighting, put down the search for reliable sources and lean into the wealth of knowledge and positive support these people and everything they’ve created has to offer you. Like myself, you’ll be glad you did.
