The Dominar X has the perfect set of features to make your life easier and simpler for you when you make your Christmas light display, starting off with our REAL Warranty:  Instead of some vague language on a sales page, we have a REAL warranty backed by REAL quality. 

That means, if in the first 3 years, your fixture has any issues (not caused by physical abuse of the light, electrical strikes, etc), ship it back and repair it for you, under warranty.  In the first year, we even pay the shipping back to our US-based repair tech!  We won't just send you some parts and vague instructions and make you figure it out, nope - we fix it, and you save time, money, and energy!

REAL quality means, that while you may see other people bringing similar lights to market, you won't see anything with anywhere near the same quality level at this price.  Our team has been working with our factory for over 15 years, with paid independent quality control brought in to inspect EVERY unit we bring to you.

Next, we have our REAL longevity: It's fairly well-known in the commercial Christmas light space that the 350w/380w moving heads typically lose 50% of their brightness or more in the first 2-3 years.  Our LED engine doesn't fade significantly over the same time period.

Dominar X thoughts and support experience

I picked up 4 Dominar X beams in the spring. First let me give my thoughts on the Dominar X's then I'll review customer service. These Dominar X beams are amazing! They are responsive, quiet, run cool, and have a bright tight beam that just pops with a nice tight circle of light on a tree some 300 feet away. I'm guessing aircraft will be wondering if I'm the airport this season! Programming these lights is a piece of cake with the .xmodel file that David has set up to use with these head. This eliminates the need to have to figure out all the settings you need to run the heads. I can't begin to imagine how many hours that file saved me. I haven't had them long enough to run a show yet but I'll be back to review once I have a season under my belt to comment on.

CUSTOMER SERVICE: As far as responsiveness to my questions and customer service related issues I was blown away by the support. I had zero experience with this type of fixture. I dropped the guys a line and asked if someone could field some questions to help me understand what I was getting into. David contacted me immediately. He spent a good half hour answering all my questions and explaining how these work. That was just the first of several calls as I needed some serious coaching on how to use the product. So after our initial talk I took the plunge and hoped that the post-purchase experience would be as good as the pre-purchase experience had been.

Well, let me tell you folks the post-purchase experience was even better! David and the guys are the real deal. They actually care and want to help.

As a short background, I spent the better part of 20 years teaching customer relations in companies like Intel, Caterpillar, Chrysler, Ford, General Motors, Toyota, BMW, Mercedes, Otis Elevator, and Boeing. I KNOW good customer service when I see it. And I see it in spades with Above AVL. David was absolutely OUTSTANDING with his responses, help, counsel, and guidance to get me up and running. He could give classes in how to treat a customer to all those companies I mentioned above. He understands the concept of customer service. He spent far more time helping me after the sale than he did before I purchased. Their motto is we love to help people (might be paraphrased a bit) and I concur. They're not just saying it they actually DO it! A lot of companies claim to support after the sale and then don't want to be bothered. Not so with Above AVL. David spent several hours coaching me up and he never hesitated to do so and was extremely patient with my slow learning curve.

I have made them my go to supplier because I learned, working with David, that his word is as good as gold. You can bank on it. This is 'old school' customer service at its best!
