ELM runs on Windows and supports live video, pre-rendered content, and over 100 built-in generative effects — including audio-reactive Eye Candy effects — all mappable across pixel strips, dots, and fixtures in any 2D or 3D configuration.

ELM 2025 introduces multilingual support (English, French, and Chinese), Open Sound to Light (OS2L) protocol integration with VirtualDJ, DXF CAD file import for automatic LED strip mapping, automatic Art-Net backup takeover, an OSC monitor for troubleshooting, and a significantly refreshed UI across the Live, Media, and Stage panels. Licenses are stackable — purchase additional licenses and combine them on the same computer to increase universe capacity. Each license allows three activations, and if you need to move to a new machine, activations can be managed through your ENTTEC account. ELM 2025 can be downloaded and trialed for free with limited universes and a periodic output pause.
