The Ashly MA500.8 belongs to Ashly's MA Series of ultra-high-efficiency power amplifiers. It uses proprietary D-MAX™ amplifier technology and intelligent power sharing to distribute available power dynamically across groups of four channels, helping accommodate different channel demands.

Each channel can be configured independently for low-impedance operation at 2, 4, or 8 ohms, or constant-voltage operation at 25 V, 70 V, or 100 V. The amplifier also features removable Euroblock input and output connections, remote volume-control ports, switchable high-pass filters, clip limiters, and comprehensive front-panel status indicators.
