Description

Caret Down

The Martin MAC Aura Raven XIP is a flagship RGBL LED moving head wash delivering 27,000 lumens through a 343 mm lens, with a 234-LED pixelated Aura backlight, IP54-rated XIP weatherproofing, and a 1:5.3 belt-driven zoom — indoors or out.

From the Manufacturer

The MAC Aura Raven XIP is the biggest, brightest, and boldest fixture in the MAC Aura family — a premium moving head that combines wash, beam, eye-candy, and smart weatherproof functionality in a single package. Its industry-leading RGBL light engine delivers 27,000 lumens through a massive 343 mm (13.5 in.) front lens, producing the cleanest wash field in its class: even, soft-edged, and free from color artifacts, brown edges, or hotspots. An array of 234 individual RGB LEDs behind the lens creates a captivating pixelated Aura backlight effect — a bold "round video screen" appearance that adds dynamic visual impact even when the main beam is idle.

Thanks to Martin's integrated XIP technology, the MAC Aura Raven XIP strikes the ideal balance between indoor and outdoor functionality. It delivers the compact size, low noise, and sleek aesthetics of an indoor fixture while providing the rugged IP54-rated durability needed for festivals, temporary outdoor events, and demanding touring applications — with no compromises in size, weight, or performance. A significantly enhanced belt-driven zoom system ensures extremely fast and near-silent operation. Other firsts for the MAC Aura family include a Universal Connect Module slot, Companion Mobile app control via NFC, and yoke handles for easier transport and rigging. The MAC Aura Raven XIP delivers 70% more brightness than the legendary Martin MAC Quantum Wash.

Here's What Our Customers Say:

"Working with David and the [Above AVL] team was one of the best, if not the best, experience I’ve ever had with a purveyor in my lighting career. The entire team was very attentive, they bent over backwards to work within my tight timeline, and they provided a very warm customer service experience before and after purchase. At this point, one might think I’m laying the compliments on a little thick, I am not! [Above AVL] deserves more credit than my little testimonial can possibly translate."

Just wanted to reach out and let you know I received all the packages from you guys yesterday so thank you so much again for all your help with this! You truly saved the day and definitely went above and beyond for us! I will be using you guys for all my future A/V and lighting purchases .Thanks again and have a great weekend!!

6 weeks before our big event date I was given the role of managing our conference’s stage appearance and live streaming visuals. [Above AVL] helped steer me toward a perfect beginners kit of high quality lights that helped me create an even stage wash with enough dynamic uplighting that I could transform the bland hotel conference ballroom into a dance party scene on several nights. If you’re looking for help learning stage and event lighting, put down the search for reliable sources and lean into the wealth of knowledge and positive support these people and everything they’ve created has to offer you. Like myself, you’ll be glad you did.
