Description

Caret Down

A fixture that produces a high quality white frontlight.  It is an alternative to the Mac Viper Wash DX. This is a great option for medium to large sized events.

From the Manufacturer:

Designed to produce rich color and premium white light in a wide variety of applications where light quality is critical, the MAC Encore™ Wash CLD is an LED-based alternative to the MAC Viper Wash DX. The feature-packed soft edge moving head offers unparalleled 6000 K crisp, neutral daylight, and doubles as a modern replacement for generic fixtures like HMI based Fresnel fixtures, with the additional benefit of color mixing and movement.

Features:

  • Pure white LED engine with 6000 K CCT.

  • No color temperature variation during zoom and dimming.

  • Flicker-free operation—LED driver frequency suitable for all camera applications.

  • Whisper-silent—Combines convection and forced air cooling with user-selectable output vs. sound level control.

  • Fully electronic dimmer/shutter control with various dimming curves and tungsten red-shift emulation.

  • Vibrant CMY color mixing with a superior palette of colors ranging from rich, saturated primary colors to light and smooth pastel shades.

  • Variable CTO—daylight to tungsten CCT control and expansion of the CMY palette that stays true to the black body curve.

  • Color wheel—6 interchangeable dichroic filters + open.

  • Fresnel lens: 1:4 zoom—precise, silent and fast zoom.

  • PC lens (optional): 1:5 zoom—precise, silent and fast zoom.

  • Internal barndoor system with two shutter blades and iris. Shutter blades can overlap for full blackout and the entire system rotates +/- 100°. Repeats cues with great precision.

  • Precise and tight iris with adjustable dynamic effects.

  • Animotion™ FX System—Internal dimming effect macros for stunning 3D mid-air and projection effects.

  • Super precise and silent pan/tilt movement and positioning due to 3-phase stepper motor technology and absolute position monitoring.

  • Compact size—L: 452 x W: 480 x H: 745 mm / L: 17.8 x W: 18.9 x H: 29.3 in.

  • Low weight—28.5 kg/62.9 lbs

Why Purchase From Above AVL?

We LOVE to connect awesome people with the gear they need to make their events happen.

Our team is available via email or phone to help you find the perfect fit, quote it out for your personalized price, and help get it into your hands!

Here's What Our Customers Say:

"Working with David and the [Above AVL] team was one of the best, if not the best, experience I’ve ever had with a purveyor in my lighting career. The entire team was very attentive, they bent over backwards to work within my tight timeline, and they provided a very warm customer service experience before and after purchase. At this point, one might think I’m laying the compliments on a little thick, I am not! [Above AVL] deserves more credit than my little testimonial can possibly translate."

Just wanted to reach out and let you know I received all the packages from you guys yesterday so thank you so much again for all your help with this! You truly saved the day and definitely went above and beyond for us! I will be using you guys for all my future A/V and lighting purchases .Thanks again and have a great weekend!!

6 weeks before our big event date I was given the role of managing our conference’s stage appearance and live streaming visuals. [Above AVL] helped steer me toward a perfect beginners kit of high quality lights that helped me create an even stage wash with enough dynamic uplighting that I could transform the bland hotel conference ballroom into a dance party scene on several nights. If you’re looking for help learning stage and event lighting, put down the search for reliable sources and lean into the wealth of knowledge and positive support these people and everything they’ve created has to offer you. Like myself, you’ll be glad you did.
