We really like the Spectra 300 LED spot.  Our previous favorite CMY fixtures were around twice the cost and only had a few different/better features.  This is a nice unit that is compact, works well, and comes in at a killer value!

Powered by a 300W LED engine, Spectra delivers bright, crisp projections with a 3.5º – 46º zoom range, complemented by an extensive color palette featuring CMY + CTO color mixing along with a dedicated 11-slot dichroic color wheel.

Users can choose from 20 hand-selected gobos with auto-focus that can flood surfaces with sharp patterns and customize beams with iris and an 8-facet prism for uncompromised effects.

Let's start with the basics.  The Volux Spectra 300 offers CMY color mixing for smooth mixing of pretty much any color you desire. 

It's got a good selection of both beam/graphical designs and projectable graphics.  The zoom range is exceptionally wide compared to similar fixtures, and the optical quality and dimming hits a really high bar.

If we could complain, we'd probably ask for a linear prism for beam effects, but overall the amount and quality of features that they include for the price is exceptional.

    loving the options!

    Working great for our small/medium sized church! I'm sure it would work great in any space/size. Simple set up, lots of options. It's super bright!! Great for spots, gobos, motion and more.

    My favorite light!

    I'm a lighting guy at a church - the Volux Spectra 300 is one of the most versatile fixtures in my rig and one of my favorites! CMY color mixing at this price point is amazing! With its zoom range, selection of gobos, and prism, it looks great for aerial effects. But it's also killer at lighting scenic elements - CONTINUOUS split colors (not just 50/50), rotating gobos, frost filter, motorized focus and iris allow you to make all kinds of interesting patterns like smoke, fountains, clouds, etc. The only drawback it has is it's not high CRI, so it's not the best for conventional front lighting on people. Even using the variable CTO feature, it doesn't quite match my conventional 2800K lights (it's a bit yellowish). For everything else, though, it's my go-to light!

    These are fantastic!

    I ordered two of these recently for our Performing Arts Center. They are fantastic! I would highly recommend them. They are quiet, easy to use, love the hobos as well as the beam size. If you are thinking about getting these, think no longer. Buy them now!
